In PBL this term, we have been learning about soil,rocks,water, air, and life forms. I am making a 3D model of my Island/Forest. My Island/Forest is a world that I created using different rocks, plants, leaves,Paint and more. For the plants/trees I used bushes as my trees, for the rocks I used pebbles and stones, for the Bridge I used bark that I stuck together and lastly for sun I used a piece of fabric.

This week in reading our goal was reading between the lines, reading between the lines is to understand something in the text that hasn’t been said. Our Create was to Design a poster about your understanding of reading between the lines, I choose to do a poster. Here it is

This week in reading we needed to think of some rocks that we may have seen at some point. Use a website to identify the rocks there was some really cool rocks on the website. Then we needed to create a poster with information about 5 different rocks. On the poster we had to list 4 questions about rocks. I made my poster about purple rocks, my favourite rock I researched was Sugilite because it was really pretty and it is a really nice colour the sentence I made about the rock was It is a rare mineral and a gemstone best known for its vibrant pink to purple colors. .

In writing this week we had to create three different reading creates I chose to make a fake Twitter Post on why you need to drink water and it had to be under 100 words and then I wrote down notes and I got a couple short sentences on why you need to drink one of them was not drinking enough water can increase the risk of kidney stones.
This week in writing and RE we have been focusing on All Saints and All Souls day. We needed to watch a video and read a story about all Saints and all Souls day.
Our goals were to explain the purpose of All Souls Day, identify one Catholic practice on All Souls Day and explain the belief behind this practice.

For the last four weeks of Term 3 we were learning about ‘How we can be Champions on Peace’.
Firstly we learnt about the different symbols of peace. Some of these are
These symbols represent peace because because all of them are peaceful images
We also researched some real life champions of peace and wrote a short biography. I wrote about Lionel Messi I thought this person was a champion of peace because inspired young players to focus on technical skills and ball control, rather than just physical attributes like speed and strength.
We also created a peace prayer book. I have attached my peace prayer book here.
I enjoyed learning about peace because it help me be peaceful with my friends
I learnt about different types of peace symbols . One way I plan on being a champion of peace is by being kind and peaceful.
